-Avoid bold patterns, stripes and plaids, simple is better.
-Avoid shiny fabrics.
-Make sure clothing has been ironed.
-Solid colors are best.
-Feel free to bring your favorite props.
-Wear clothing that is comfortable, if you're not comfortable it may b
e obvious in your pictures.
-Limit jewelry and accessories. Remember, you are the subject and you
don't want to add
distraction to your photos.
-Feel free to bring make up for touch ups.
-Parents:  when working with small children, bring toys and any necessary
rewards for good
behavior. Small children need immediate gratification, so
bring  items such as toys, candy or

-Morning appointments are preferred for newborn-toddler aged children.

For Maternity:
-Optimal session dates for maternity are between 6-7 months.
-Concerned about stretch marks?  Don't worry,  I can take them out.
-Solid black and solid white button up shirts provide a timeless, classy look.
-Several hours before your  photo shoot, you'll want to take off anything
that has tight elastic such
as  slacks with tight waistbands and undergarments
or bras in order to make sure you don't  have
elastic or strap marks on your skin.
-Remember that your hands will likely show up in the pictures so make sure you give yourself a
mini-manicure.
-If you plan to include other children or your husband in your pictures,
please let me know in
advance.
-Tops that will cover your belly should be form fitting to show off your beautiful bump.
**Maternity boudoir photography also available.
